Felsefenin Umudu, Umudun Politikası: Kant ve Bloch Özet Bu yazının amacı felsefe tarihinin başlangıçlarında bireysel ve sıklıkla olumsuz bir kavram olarak belirlenen umudun Kant ve Bloch felsefelerinde nasıl odağa alındığını göstermektir. Buna göre Kant felsefesinde umut yalnızca bireysel ve psikolojik bir kavram olarak ortaya çıkmaz; aksine insan aklının en temel sorularından birine dönüşür. Bu bakımdan umut aklın arkitektoniğine içkindir ve bir doğa varlığı olarak insanla bir akıl varlığı olarak insanı birlikte düşünmemizi sağlayan politik bir ufka işaret eder. Bloch ise materyalist bir temelde bir umut felsefesi geliştirir. Örneğin, imkân kategorilerine dair çözümlemesiyle umudun maddi zeminini ortaya koymaya çalışır. Bloch soruşturması ile hem henüz-varolmayana yönelik umudu –aynı zamanda– politik bir edim olarak saptar hem de Marksizm içinde ihmal edilmiş (somut) ütopyacılığın daha iyiyi varlığa getirmek-teki gerekliliğine işaret eder. Hope of Philosophy, Politics of Hope: Kant and Bloch Abstract The purpose of this article is to show that how hope, taken in the beginnings of the history of philosophy as an individualistic and often a negative concept, came into focus in Kant’s and Bloch’s philosophies. In Kant’s philosophy, hope emerges not only as an individualistic and psychological concept, but it turns into one of the main questions of human reason. It is inherent to the architectonics of reason, and indicates a political horizon in which we can think human both as a natural being and a rational being. On the other side, Bloch develops a philosophy of hope on a materialistic ground. For example, he analyses the layers of possibility to show material grounds of hope. In his inquiry, Bloch also determines hope as –at the same time– a political act, and points that utopianism has an indispensable role to bring the better into existence.
